Giant's skid steers go into full production

Dutch company GIANT revealed its first skid steer loader during the GIANT open days event in October 2014. After more than a year of development and testing the little GIANT is ready for production.

The company has invested heavily in a new purpose built modern production line facility which opened towards the end of 2015 and since January this year production has been in full swing. These new powerful all-round machines are seen as the perfect addition to the company's existing range of machinery and the first batch of machines have already been delivered to dealers in Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Denmark and the United Kingdom, GIANT Skid steer loaders These new skid steer loaders combine a low weight (750 kg) and compact sizes with a high tractive force and tipping discharge height. According to GIANT this makes the machines extremely flexible and suitable to use for a wide variety of applications. GIANT Skid steer met kip-transport bak A wide variety of GIANT approved attachments are available to enable the skid steer loader to work in different applications such as agricultural, construction, property maintenance or for private use. GIANT Skid steer met pelikaanbak The current range of skid steer loaders consists of 3 different models. One petrol version with 21 HP (SK 211 G) and two diesel versions with 20 HP (SK 201 D) or 25 HP (SK 251 D). The machines are equipped with 4 powerful, but low maintenance hydraulic wheel motors.
