High speed Cat Challenger

Last week I travelled to Immingham to witness John Garner and one of his Agco-Cat Challenger tractor and box combos in action.

It was a delight to visit the site close to the famous port to see one of these machines in action up close and personal. I will be reporting in more detail on this site visit in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine so I won’t go into too much detail here. But basically John’s tractor is pulling an American built Reynolds scraper box and the combination has proved extremely popular on site where it is working for Geofirma, a division of CA Blackwell’s.
