Hydrema & Komatsu combo on the rails

I am often asked to give rail work a bit more coverage on the blog, so here is a good piece of video footage from my friend Lasse Holst of the Danish Construction Channel.

The action takes place at a small train station in Denmark and features a Komatsu D51EX dozer, fitted with Leica laser machine control, pushing out railway stone which has been delivered by a rail road configured Hydrema 912D articulated dumptruck displaying the versatility of its swivel skip. Also of interest is the special sideboards on the Komatsu's dozer blade which act like a carrydozer keeping the material contained and preventing overspill.
