Hyundai gears up for Bauma with a wide range of world premieres
Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) will present an extensive range of equipment for both the construction and forklift world. The construction equipment range comprises the construction, utility, forestry, recycling & waste handling and mining & quarrying industries at Bauma 2016. Many of the machines will be making their world premiere at the show.
The line-up includes the release of the newest models of the Stage IV range compliant excavators wheel loaders and forklifts.
Hyundai is showing a grand total of 24 construction equipment machines and 9 forklift models on the company’s 3,447 square metre stand located in the open air area FM.813A. Of particular interest to Earthmovers and Digger Man Blog readers will be the construction and earthmoving machines including the 9 model range of mini excavators ranging from the 1.5 tonne class R16-9 to the 8 tonne class R80CR-9A.
10 larger Stage IV engine powered excavators will feature on the stand and will include 7 world premiere machines including the all new HX145 LCR, HX235 LCR, HX260 NL, HX300 NL, HX330 NL and the HW140 & HW210 wheeled excavators.
There will be 5 wheeled loaders on display with 4 world premiere models including the HL940 TM (Tool Master), HL955 TM, HL970 and HL980 models in addition to the already popular HL960.
The most significant change in Hyundai’s continued update programme is the roll-out of Stage IV compliant diesel engines, with reduced exhaust emissions and improved fuel economy. Besides the engine change there are numerous other updates ranging from the cabin features including dashboard and instrument cluster to the hydraulic control and the exterior design.
