Impressive Finnish flair with Lannen set up
Rarely if ever seen in the UK, Lannen machines are the Finnish equivalent of the Swedish Huddig backhoe loaders, which are often described as the Rolls Royce of BHL’s, I came across this video recently and thought I would share it here on the Digger Man Blog.
The towing of trailers behind a backhoe loader is unheard of in the UK, but in Scandinavian territories it appears to be something that is done routinely and nobody bats an eyelid. It’s often been a hot topic of debate on the Digger Man Blog’s hugely popular and respected Facebook page but it still seems to be a bit of a grey area in terms of legality in the UK. This video clip features an “all singing all dancing” Lannen 8800GLT backhoe loader with a very impressive six wheeled tipping trailer in tow, which features a lifting front axle and rear wheel steer. It really is just one of those videos you just need to sit back and watch in amazement at the technology involved.
