The company have a range of 10 machines dedicated to this campaign, ranging from the 1.7-tonne Hyundai R 17Z-9A up to the 14.5-tonne Hyundai HX145CR in addition to a Bomag BW1358AC-5 vibratory roller, all sporting the stunning pink livery.

Talking about the initiative Marketing Manager at Porter Group, Natalie Calvert said, “We had excellent customer participation last year, raising $20,000 for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. It was great to see such widespread support for such a worthy cause in 2021 and are looking forward to seeing our pink machines out there working again for 2022!”.

Breast cancer affects over 3,300 New Zealand women and their families every year. Through early detection education, whanau support, research funding and advocacy, the Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand has one core vision: zero deaths from breast cancer.

The team at Porter Hire are once again getting behind the amazing team at the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and contributing 10% of all pink machine hires to help support the work they do across New Zealand.

General machine hirers and customers old and new who would like to get behind this fund-raising campaign should get in touch with their local Porter Hire NZ territory manager today and get involved in this very worthy cause.

In the video below we see one of last years customers, Fulton Hogan, who opted to join the campaign by hiring a pink HX145CR from Porter Hire.

The Digger Man Blog would like to thank Natalie Calvert for supplying images and video for inclusion in this post.
