During the Bauma Trade Fair earlier this year I stopped by to take a look around the latest offerings from Kaiser.

These machines along with other similar makes of climbing excavators really do take extreme excavation to another level. I have never tried one out in anger yet, but can only imagine you need a big set of underpants to take on some of the hillsides you see these machines working on! I guess it’s like most machines in reality, once you get used to what can be achieved with them it’s plain sailing, in theory anyway.
