Liebherr’s Bauma build up continues

Our friends over at Liebherr are continuing to prepare their massive stand in preparation for next month’s Bauma trade fair in Munich and once again they have kindly shared some photos of the build up.

Liebherr’s Bauma build up continues
With the massive T 264 dumptruck completed the assembly team then  moved on to the next large exhibit the 200 tonne class mining shovel the R 9200, which will be the largest excavator on the stand this time around and will be displayed in its backhoe configuration. LH_5_-4107 As is the case with machines of such size, its components are brought in to site in modular form and assembled in sequence from the track frame up. According to our man on the inside snow has been hampering the assembly process, but the team report that they will get it done for sure as we would expect from our mega efficient German friends. LH_5_-4167 These stunning photos really give you a feel for how big these machines are and I for one am looking forward to getting up close and personal with this beautiful looking machine in April. LH6_-6189 The next big machine to arrive at the showground will be the new 70 tonne class dozer the PR  776, which features a high drive arrangement and is certain to be of interest to many visitors to the show. We hope to be able to bring photos of its transport from Austria and assembly on site in the coming weeks.
