Liebherr’s BIG attraction at Bauma

The Liebherr stand at the Bauma Trade fair in Munich is big in every way you look at it, but there is always one piece of kit that seems to dominate the home soil booth for the German company and that’s the T 282C Rigid Dumptruck.

The giant Liebherr dumptruck has become something of a focal point at Bauma over the years and is always guaranteed to draw a crowd when it is fired up intermittently to raise and lower the dump body in front of a thrilled and captive audience.

The Liebherr T 282C has impressive statistics; the machine has a gross weight of 600 tonnes and is capable of carrying a payload of 363 tonnes at a top speed of 64kmh.

At the 2013 event Liebherr displayed the smaller T 264 model, which weighs in at 424 tonnes and is capable of carrying a payload of 240 tonnes. Still a very impressive truck by anyone's standards.
