Major industry names back UK Plant Expo 2027
UK Plant Expo 2027, in association with Flannery Plant Hire and NOCN, is already building strong support across the construction equipment industry ahead of its launch in Warwickshire on Friday, 11 and Saturday, 12 June 2027.
Created specifically for the UK’s construction, plant hire, quarrying, demolition and recycling sectors, the brand-new outdoor event is being built around what the industry actually wants to see: machinery outdoors, live digging and working demonstrations, and the chance to get close to the equipment and the people behind it.
Designed around live demonstrations and working machinery, the venue will benefit exhibitors and visitors, who will benefit from large outdoor areas where equipment can be demonstrated under real-site conditions. The aim is simple: put working equipment at the centre of the event and create a show that feels relevant to manufacturers, dealers, contractors, hire companies, technology providers and operators alike.
Running alongside the established UK Plant Operator of the Year event, UK Plant Expo will also benefit from the UK’s largest independent plant operator competition, with a £20,000 prize fund helping to bring extra energy and profile to the two-day event.

Among the companies already announced are McHale Komatsu, Xwatch Safety Solutions, Leica Geosystems, Steelwrist, LiuGong UK & Ireland, SDLG, Geith, Haulotte, Brokk UK, Land & Water and Flannery Plant Hire, with further announcements to follow.
Harry Mellor, Sales Director UK & Ireland said, "The UK Plant Expo is more than just recognising great operators; for LiuGong it's about working with the people who know these machines best. Their experience and feedback are invaluable in shaping the next generation of equipment. We're proud to support the event and look forward to helping it grow in the years ahead."

Nick Drew, Diggerman Blog, Earthmovers Magazine said, “UK Plant Expo looks as though it could strike a chord with the industry. People still want to see machinery outdoors, see it working and spend time around the equipment in the right sort of setting.
“With UK Plant Operator of the Year alongside it, the event has a ready-made connection to the people who actually run the machines. That gives it a strong base and is a worthwhile date in the plant calendar. I am very much looking forward to being involved.”

Dan Leaney of Xwatch Safety Solutions added, “For Xwatch, this is exactly the right sort of environment. Plant safety technology needs to be seen alongside the machinery it supports and the people using it every day.
“UK Plant Expo will bring together working equipment, operators and the wider industry in a setting that feels right for plant. That makes it a strong platform for showing how technology and machinery now go hand in hand on site.”

Located in the heart of England with strong road links, UK Plant Expo 2027 is designed to be accessible to exhibitors and visitors from across the UK. Friday will give the industry a proper business day to meet, talk and see the equipment, while Saturday will make it easier for operators, owner-drivers and smaller businesses to attend.

UK Plant Expo 2027 takes place in Warwickshire on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 June 2027, with more exhibitors, partners, and event announcements to be made over the coming months.
