MaskinExpo from a Swedish point of view

In this blog I am delighted to share some photos from our Swedish friend Robert Carlsson that he took during last month’s MaskinExpo show in Stockholm.

The distinctive blue Liebherr R 918 special edition attracted a lot of attention at the show and Robert was interested in the machine too. Robert said, “This digger will probably be running close to me as the company logos are from my town”.

Robert continued, “Note the massive amount of working lights and the position lights on the sides, the 710mm twin tyres, the bucket quick hitch instead of the dozer blade and the silver coloured Engcon tiltrotator, which as you probably know is a limited edition anniversary special, this digger is as you use to say "all singing all dancing".

In this shot we see one of the many different types of trailers that were displayed at the show, in this instance its one designed for working in soft muddy conditions. The Swedes lead the way in trailer utilisation behind plant, especially with rubber ducks but also trailed behind backhoe loaders.

This photo shows a Volvo ECR235 compact radius machine with an impressive looking pile driving attachment mounted on a rotation unit.
