Morooka’s slewing revolution

In this post I will share a couple of photos from my recent Earthmovers Magazine site visit to see two new Morooka dumptrucks which have been purchased by National Tracked Dumptruck Hire (NTDH) in action.

For many years the Morooka MST2200VD rigid tracked dumper, sold in the UK by dealer Cautrac, has been one of the company’s best sellers and has proven to be very useful piece of kit in a wide variety of applications.

But the arrival of the new MST2200VDR which was launched at Intermat earlier this year is now going to take tracked dumper deployment on sensitive areas to another level. The operators and the customer I spoke to on this site visit, were extremely impressed with the new models which feature full 360^oslew capability, enabling the machines to cause a lot less damage to the ground they are travelling on.
