New Chinese UK entrant on the horizon?

The Digger Man Blog has heard a rumour that an example of another Chinese manufacturers kit has been spotted at an undisclosed location in the UK.

New Chinese UK entrant on the horizon?
It’s fair to say that there are a massive amount of construction equipment manufacturers in China, including many that I doubt many of us will have even heard of. What seems certain is that the Chinese are currently facing economic woes at home and as such the country's major construction equipment manufacturers are now looking at expanding further into the European market. LiuGong have made great strides into the UK market through their UK dealer CPMS, Sany are also making in-roads with TDL Equipment  and more recently we have seen Sunward join the party through the privately owned Sunward UK dealership. Now an eagle eyed blog reader has reported spotting a crane from Chinese company XCMG in a yard in the UK, so could they be the next to enter an already saturated market I ask? The last XCMG machines I saw in the flesh was during a trip to Bauma in 2010, although I am sure they were there in 2013 but I never came across them it’s so vast! While researching XCMG I read that they claim to be one of the biggest manufacturers in China, ranked at number 3 in the industry, but in all fairness I think most of the companies out there claim similar notoriety. The company appears to build a wide range of construction products ranging from cranes to compaction equipment and excavators to concrete pumps. I guess only time will tell if we are to see these products in the UK, but in the meantime check out this promotional video from XCMG featuring excavators performing tricks and stunts.
