Global interest in the tilt-rotator concept continues to gather pace with many markets seeing an uptake in the systems which have been commonplace in Scandinavian territories for over 25 years. Rototilt has worked with Caterpillar for many years now, but in the last quarter of 2016 this working arrangement will move forward even more when Caterpillar releases a fully integrated solution with tilt-rotator for wheeled excavators ranging from 12-24 tonnes, which will bear the Cat branding logo an example of which was on display on the Cat stand during the recent Bauma show. DSC_0279 Talking about this new deal Mr Anders Jonsson CEO at Rototilt Group AB said, “We are very proud to get this vote of confidence from Caterpillar. The complete integration is a result of team work between the two companies. It also shows Caterpillars goal to be an innovative company that introduces new and interesting products for its customers around the globe” DSC_0256 Pictured above: Per Vappling, VP Marketing and Sales, (Left) and Anders Jonsson CEO Rototilt Group AB (Right). Caterpillar customers will get the full integrated system that enables the operator to make settings for excavations and showing the tilt-rotator data via an in cab monitor. Talking further about this deal Mr Per Vappling, VP Marketing and Sales at Rototilt said, “For example, this deal will see us go from our own three salesmen in Germany to a big network of dealers containing over a hundred salesmen. Increasing OEM-collaboration is one important part of Rototilt’s long term business plan, currently most of our sales are made through our own dealer network”.
