Row, row, row, the bagger!

Another look now at one of the digger related challenges from the German TV show Wetten Dass.

We have shown a number of these clips over the years from Wetten Dass the German version of that now long gone British classic TV show You Bet, which sees a panel of celebrities bet for or against someone completing a challenge. In this old clip from 2009 we see an operator of a Liebherr 914 hydraulic excavator (bagger in German) mounted on a barge, attempting to “row” the machine some 250 metres down a river in 4 minutes using his boom and dipper to propel him along, its nail biting stuff, but will he make it in time….
