Show Season Opens with Executive Hire Show 2026 (Part Two)

What’s new for 2026

Battery-powered surface preparation equipment, electric telehandlers, self-powered access platforms and mobile energy storage systems are among the key developments on show in 2026. Across the floor, exhibitors are placing greater emphasis on equipment designed to reduce emissions, simplify operation and improve fleet flexibility, while still meeting the practical demands of busy hire environments. From compact plant and lighting to access, power and welfare solutions, the focus this year is firmly on machines and systems that help hire companies respond to tighter site requirements without adding complexity or cost.

Access, compaction and core hire equipment

Access equipment remains a strong focus for 2026. Euro Towers returns with its aluminium tower, podium, and low-level access ranges, alongside show-only deals for hire companies looking to invest in proven access equipment.

Aluminium access also features prominently with UTS Sales & Repair Ltd, which offers a broad portfolio of UK-manufactured tower systems. Alongside new and updated products, UTS will highlight tower compatibility under the PASMA Compatibility Protocol, as well as its repair and refurbishment services designed to extend fleet life and protect asset value.

Compact plant, air power and surface preparation

Surface preparation is another area seeing rapid development, with Trelawny SPT Ltd bringing its VoltMax battery-powered range to the hire sector for the first time. Built around advanced 82V lithium-ion technology, the range delivers consistent high-torque performance without emissions, low vibration or the need for transformers, offering a cleaner, quieter alternative for indoor and urban applications.

Lighting and power: practical alternatives for modern sites

Lighting and temporary power are two of the strongest themes running through the 2026 Show.

Airstar will showcase its Sirocco balloon lighting range, designed to eliminate glare and harsh shadows through 360-degree diffused output. Fast setup times, compatibility with small generators and battery-powered options make the range particularly relevant for hire fleets focused on safety and efficiency.

Lighting innovation continues with HIMOINSA, presenting the HCOMPACT+ mobile lighting tower, combining LED technology, a Stage V Yanmar engine and advanced control systems to support demanding site conditions with low fuel consumption and long service intervals.

Battery-powered lighting also features prominently, with Power-2-Go offering silent, fume-free lighting towers for urban sites and restricted-access locations.

In the wider power category, AJ Power and AKSA Power Generation UK will present Stage V-compliant generator solutions for standby and prime power use. At the same time, Hatz demonstrates engine, diagnostics and hybrid power solutions.

GenZero, a brand by NightSearcher, will present its range of portable power stations designed as a clean, quiet alternative to petrol and diesel generators. The fuel-free systems offer zero-emission, low-noise power for industrial, commercial and remote applications, with scalable options suited to temporary sites, emergency use and off-grid work where reliability and simplicity matter.Parts, handling and fleet support

Keeping fleets moving is another clear theme for 2026. First-time exhibitor MAXA Group, formed from the merger of ATE UK and Trailparts, brings a consolidated parts and support offering designed to reduce downtime through simplified ordering, strong stockholding and rapid response.

Materials handling is represented by SHS Handling Solutions, showcasing hire-ready pallet trucks and stackers supported by nationwide servicing, inspections and operator training.

Manual handling and site storage are also featured, with Armorgard highlighting secure storage, sheet handling, and lithium-ion battery charging systems designed to support safe battery management on site.

Site identification and compliance are addressed by Sov Print Ltd, presenting its SUPATUFF tag and label range alongside the SUPASCAFF inspection tags developed to simplify scaffold compliance.

Tools, consumables and specialist equipment

Tooling and consumables remain a cornerstone of the Show. TIMCO and Toolpak return with broad ranges and distributor support programmes, while RUBI UK demonstrates professional cutting equipment aimed at hire and trade use.

Woodchippers are another strong category, with Först showcasing the Cadet range alongside established hire favourites, and TH White Machinery Imports exhibiting Ohashi tracked woodchippers, including the diesel ES160DH.

Welfare, environment and compliance

Site welfare and environmental management continue to evolve. CabinTec and Groundhog will both present welfare solutions designed to reduce environmental impact while meeting modern site expectations. Groundhog will be showcasing its single- and twin-axle sustainable welfare range, along with a brand-new product to be launched at the show.  CabinTec will showcase its SaniSpace Solar range of toilets and showers, and will introduce its new range of site security cabins, the SentrySpace Solar.

Environmental control is further supported by Kelly Tanks Ltd, making its Executive Hire Show debut with concrete washout and water treatment systems aimed at straightforward environmental compliance.

Spill control is addressed by Fentex, showcasing British-made spill solutions including the EVO recycled range and SpillTrapper system.

Software, platforms and skills

Beyond physical equipment, digital platforms and business support remain an important part of the Show.

MCS Rental Software returns with rental management and mobile solutions, while DocuWare, represented by DocTech, will demonstrate how digital document workflows can replace paper-based processes across hire operations.

Vooba will provide practical guidance on improving online visibility and enquiry quality, while SharePlant Rentals introduces a marketplace model designed to improve utilisation and reduce transport miles.

Skills development will be highlighted on the CPA (Construction Plant-hire Association) stand, where a plant simulator supplied by Tenstar Simulation will give visitors hands-on insight into operator training and early engagement.

A broad and well-established exhibitor base

Alongside the exhibitors previewed in detail, the Executive Hire Show 2026 will also feature a strong line-up of established and widely recognised brands. These include Kubota, JCB, Hilti, Altrad Belle, Close Brothers Asset Finance and National Tool Hire, reinforcing the depth and breadth of the show floor.

A practical, wide-ranging show

With a sold-out floor and strong representation across equipment, power, access, welfare, parts, services and digital platforms, the Executive Hire Show 2026 reflects the breadth of challenges and opportunities facing the hire sector.

Chris Moore, Publishing and Event Director at the Executive Hire Show, said “The strength of the event lies in its practical relevance, giving visitors the chance to see working equipment, speak directly with suppliers and explore solutions that can be applied immediately within their businesses.”

The Executive Hire Show 2026 takes place on 11th and 12th February at the Coventry Building Society Arena. We will see you there!
