Staying on Track with Yanmar Compact Tracked Loaders

During ConExpo-Con/Agg earlier this year in Las Vegas, Yanmar announced that they would be selling its ASV Posi-Track compact tracked loaders in the red livery of the Yanmar Brand as part of the new ‘One Yanmar’ initiative.

Compact tracked loaders are big business in the North American market, a sector that was once dominated by the wheeled skid steer variant, however the tracked machines and an entirely different and far more cable beast in the hands of a really experienced operator and above all else, they are great fun to run!

The ASV brand continues to be used in Australasian markets, where ASV has long had a strong presence, but in North America, which constitutes the vast majority of the global CTL market, the ASV name is only seen as a small logo on red Yanmar branded machines.

I’m still yet to see one of these in the metal, but I have spent time on numerous other CTL brands. Whilst surfing the web looking for information on them, I came across this video below featuring a walkaround of the Yanmar TL40RP Compact Tracked Loader with Laura Lee from Equipment East who are based in Massachusetts & New Hampshire, in the United States.
