Swedish all the way for Wagner Plant

Liskeard based Wagner Plant has recently taken delivery its second 22 tonne class Volvo excavator and the Digger Man Blog went down to see the new machine in the iron.

Swedish all the way for Wagner Plant
The latest E series EC220EL joins an existing EC220DL model on the Wagner Plant fleet which appears in the latest edition of Earthmovers Magazine and as mentioned in the article joins an ever expanding range of machines on the fleet which bare the Swedish manufacturers name, Both Tony Wagner and his operators have nothing but praise for the distinctive and stylish looking machines. Pictured above: Tony Wagner (Left)shakes hands with Volvo Construction Equipment’s Regional Sales Manager Richard Shelbourne (Right). If all goes to plan I will be putting this machine to the test on site for a future report in the magazine and after a very brief spell on the sticks on the day of this site visit, I must say its something I’m really looking forward to. I think its safe to say that Tony Wagner is a devoted Volvo customer, having started out with a single BL71 backhoe loader in the early days of his business. He has had a dabble with some other manufacturers machines in recent years, but its the Volvo products that remain dominant with the company and look set to continue that dominance in the future. Wagner Plant Hire are currently having a new website designed and built featuring exciting video footage and content. Here is a taster of what’s to come.
