The Hydex Difference
Every now and then a company catches my eye, which is not only different but very interesting too. One such company is Articulated Truck Solutions LLP and its range of Hydex products, which proves that world leading design and manufacturing is still very much alive here in the UK.
Articulated Truck Solutions are a UK based design, engineering and manufacturing company who specialise in industry-specific articulated truck products which are sold on a global scale via Caterpillar dealerships around the world, to customers involved in construction, waste and recycling, coal mining, container handling and metal production to name a few.
The company’s portfolio of products includes, tail gates, water tankers for dust suppression, bespoke service truck designs, sideboard extensions (greedy boards) coal bodies, high capacity tipper modifications, hook lifts and special body conversions like the BH40 block handler seen below.
The company also offers expert product support advice and in house monitoring solutions like the Hydex Weight Measurement System and the Hytrack Tyre Monitoring System, which are both designed to maximise fleet efficiency and productivity whilst helping to reduce overall costs.
