Thrills and deals at the Rockingham auction

It was a busy day yesterday at the inaugural Cat Auction Services and IronPlanet unreserved public auction and I was lucky enough to be invited along to the event for a behind the scenes look at the action.

A few minutes before the start of yesterday’s event which took place at the Rockingham Motor Speedway facility, I spoke to Kevin Parkes, Managing Director of Finning UK & Ireland, about his expectations for the day. It was great to witness every machine in the auction being sold, not only into the UK but also globally thanks to online bidders and I definitely learnt a lot about the auction process along the way. #IPRockingham16
