Tony Wagner Plant Hire adds a 5 ton Cat to the pride

Cornish plant hire and groundworks firm Tony Wagner Plant Hire, who are based in Liskeard, has added another Cat machine to his fleet, in the form of a 305E CR mini excavator, with the deal being finalised at the recent Royal Cornwall Show, in Wadebridge.

Tony Wagner Plant Hire adds a 5 ton Cat to the pride
Tony Wagner has increased his ownership of Caterpillar machines, with the addition of Cat 305E CR, 5 ton class machine, which will be the third Cat excavator to join his fleet. Supplied by WH Bond, the Cat Compact dealer for Cornwall & Devon, the new arrival will join his two existing Cat 308E machines, making Caterpillar the dominant brand in his ever expanding fleet. The 305E CR is a compact radius excavator, making it ideal in the tightest of job sites. The machine is powered by a Cat C2.4 engine with a power output of 31.2kw (41.8hp). The machine has been fitted with a Geith fully automatic hydraulic quick and a set of 5 buckets, which were supplied by Stricklands. The machine has gone straight out on hire on a self-drive basis with Cormac, a contracting division of Cornwall County Council. This machine also joins a JCB JS130LC, which is fitted with rubber street pads, and a New Holland T 7040 tractor, with associated trailers and attachments. With workload extremely busy at the moment, Mr Wagner is looking at possibly adding another 14 ton class excavator to the fleet in the not too distant future.
