Unusual grader set up

I recently came across this unusual mini grader concept while checking out You Tube looking for new material and thought it would make for an interesting topic here on the Digger Man Blog.

This rather primitive looking machine is manufactured by Indian company SEC RJMT Engineering. In the video the S 3218 Mini Grader is seen mounted on one of the company’s own tractor units which can also be supplied as a backhoe loader variant. But I understand that the Mini grader can be adapted to fit any suitable sized industrial tractor unit. I can only imagine that visibility down to the blade would be very poor on this machine, but no doubt this would be an economical choice for the Indian market compared to a conventional motor grader from one of the major blue chip manufacturers.
