10 tonne class “Duck” market raises massive interest

There was a time in the UK when wheeled excavators were somewhat frowned upon as something only the Central Europeans were keen on. As with many ideas, it has taken a while for folk in the UK to “cop on” to the versatility of these machines, which when fully loaded with a complete arsenal of attachments offer unprecedented flexibility on a wide variety of applications and that I feel could potentially see a further decline in the traditional backhoe loader market. Also one must not forget the new Mecalac model that we are expecting to see in Munich next week. One that has been around a while now, but that really catches the eye at the moment is the Wacker Neuson EW100.
