40 new machines for Statom Group
Statom Group, formally Gears Group and a provider of Remediation, Groundworks and Structures solutions for the UK market, has recently undertaken a £3.5 million investment in construction equipment from Molson Group. With over 40 machines delivered, the bulk of the investment has been on a range of Kobelco excavators including SK210LC models with Geith attachments, which all comply with Stage 5 emissions standard and include revolutionary noise reduction system that absorbs the sound to make the machines quieter and ideally suited to the urban environment (read more about this model in the June 2020 issue of Earthmovers Magazine - available to order here).
In other Molson Group news, the Bristol-based company has been appointed as the sole UK distributor by Genesis GmbH for its attachments for the demolition, scrap and recycling industries.
