A Change is as Good as a Rest for Bartlett Contractors

Dorset based Bartlett Contractors have historically been dedicated Caterpillar end users, in fact for around 30 years now, but just recently they have decided to have a change of brand and colours.

Back in 2019 the company invested in its first batch of Kobelco excavators, with an order for two SK85MSR’s and an SK140SR LC which were supplied by local dealer Molson Equipment.

Earlier this year the company invested in a trio of new Volvo hydraulic excavators consisting of, a 25-tonne class EC250EL model and 2 x EC220EL 22-tonne machines, supplied by SMT GB, through well-known local Sales Manager Neil Cooper.

Bartlett Contractors are expecting a very busy year ahead and have most recently added another Kobelco to the fleet, this time opting for the SK180LC model, which is a great all-round size class to have in the portfolio.

The investment hasn’t stopped with excavators, as other recent additions include a concrete crusher, Mastenbroek drainage trencher and a tracked gravel cart.

The Digger Man Blog would like to thank Bartlett Contractors Contracts Manager Gary Boon for the kind share of the photos contained in this post.

I’m looking forward to visiting the Bartlett team again in the not-too-distant future for an update on what’s new for Earthmovers Magazine.
