And now for something completely different

They say simple ideas are often the best, but with this concept the jury is definitely out. The XBoom Universal Adapter Coupler System, to give it its full title, has been designed to turn your mini excavator into a rigid boom, full slew tool carrier. Designed in Ohio, USA, it is said to be able to effectively use any universal skid steer attachment, including bucket, pallet forks, augers and mowers to name a few. The adapter remains in place at all times and it is then used to pick up the dipper arm when shovel or attachment work is completed. I’m sure there would be a place in the market for this, but for me personally a tilt-rotator on the end would be far more beneficial and a lot less time consuming with having to remove pins all the time.
