Cat D8K classic comes to the rescue
The action here takes place at a veteran machine dig day in Holland, with a number of classic machines in action in the background including Poclain and O&K excavators. The Cat D8K is owned by Dutch machinery dealers HPA Ploegmakers, and is by all accounts an Ex-US Army machine, which is described on their website as in as new condition with very low hours and 95% good undercarriage. Could there be a better example of the model anywhere in the world? I very much doubt it.

The classic Cat dozer comes to the rescue of a Wabco 110H elevating scraper which has become bogged in the soft sandy soil and with the help of the big Cat, she is soon on her way again!
