CBL Bridgend Complete Charity Challenge

After 14.5 hours, 35km’s of walking and 50,000 steps the team completed the challenge to climb the peaks of Snowdon, Cader Idris & Pan Y Fan. It was a great team effort but, special praise must go to Stuart Tilley who at 65 years young defied his age, big praise must also go to Matthew Warren for never leaving Stuart’s side, drivers stick together, and Craig Taylor who pushed himself to the limit to complete the challenge for his father who is fighting Prostate Cancer. Pictured Above Standing left to right: Roy Duckett ( Customer ), Stuart Tilley, Matthew Warren and John Elliott. Kneeling left to right: Paul Landeg, Tim Hanson, Simon Richards & Craig Taylor. CBL’s Regional Managing Director John Elliott who also completed the challenge said “I would like to thank Paul Landeg and Simon Richards for their planning and hard work, pushing our donations way past our original target. As of today, we have raised £4,355 and with the support of CBL we will be very close to £9,000”. “The team would also like to say a huge thanks to family, friends, customers and suppliers who donated to this very worthy cause”. Prostate Cancer is a topic very close to my heart and as such the Digger Man Blog would like to add our hearty congratulations to the team on this fantastic achievement and for raising much needed funds for the charity!
