Customers see the benefit with Cullion Plant Services

Aiden established Cullion Plant Services in September 2007, primarily setting up to service and repair a wide variety of plant and machinery in addition to carrying out line boring on all types of machines. As a natural progression in 2014 CPS were offered the Rototilt dealership for Ireland and have been enjoying a growing market for the game changing attachments ever since. The Irish and UK markets have seen a rapid expansion in the uptake of tiltrotators in the past couple of years so Aiden felt it would make sense to hold an open day so that anyone interested could come along and try out a Rototilt for themselves. As we know time spent in the seat with a “tilty” is really the only way to appreciate just what can be achieved with them and to fully understand the concept. The CPS open day took place on 19th August and Aiden had amassed 3 machines of varying sizes for existing and potential customers to try out. These included a 13 tonne class Case CX130D, fitted with a Rototilt R4 complete with gripper, owned by Rototilt customers Mulholland Plant Hire, a 9 tonne class Wacker Neuson ET90 fitted with a Rototilt RT30 and a 3 tonne class Wacker Neuson EZ28 which was sporting a Rototilt RT10 unit. With a range of machine sizes on offer and different control systems such as the ICS on the Case and the TLE (4 pipe system) on the ET90, this gave visitors a chance to try a wide variety of options and to get their heads around it all in an informal atmosphere with plenty of friendly Irish craic, food and refreshments available for those that attended. As well as Rototilt CPS are now offering the I-DIG 2D control system which was also demonstrated on the day and gained a lot of interest. The company are also selling a full range of attachments too including flails and grabs in addition to thier own range of Hurricane Attachments which include tree shears and grabs as well as tiltrotator specific attachments including grading beams and the increasingly popular Scandinavian style buckets and Twin lock S-Type quick hitches. Summarizing about the first open day Aiden said, “Over the course of the day we had close to 200 guests with people travelling from all over Ireland which was very encouraging for our first attempt, I am confident we will do it again in the future” It looks like a good time was had by all who attended, I’m seriously gutted that I missed it to be honest, maybe I will make a trip across next time.
