Desperately seeking Kubota KH10

I travelled to Buckinghamshire last week for a test drive opportunity on Kubota’s U27-4, the company’s latest reincarnation of their 2.5 ton class zero tail swing mini excavator, which if all goes to plan, you will be able to read about in next month’s edition of Earthmovers Magazine. Whilst we were on site I had a conversation with long term Kubota customer Roy Hawes, owner of Hawes Plant & Tool Hire, who purchased his first Kubota KH10 back in 1979. He is now actively looking to purchase a KH10 to perform a full restoration on, but sadly so far his search for one has drawn a blank. Kubota UK actually own one which is in a drab green colour, seen in the photo below at the SED show in 2004. We have been asked to spread the word about Roy’s search and ask the thousands of Digger Man Blog readers if they know of a KH10 that is available to purchase in the UK or even further afield. The KH10 is seen below in promotional literature from back in the day, enthusiastically described as with earth moving blade! If you know of one lying somewhere please don’t hesitate to contact us and I will pass on the details to Roy.
