Digger used to steal ATM
An excavator was used to remove an ATM machine from a Tesco store in Dover during the night. It is believed thieves stole the orange digger from a nearby construction site before using the bucket to rip out the ATM from the wall. Kent Police has cordoned off the area this morning and the Tesco store remains closed while investigation work is carried out.
This is not the first time an excavator has been used to rob an ATM machine. A year ago, a digger was used to steal a cash machine from a shop in County Derry, Northern Ireland. The whole incident was caught on CCTV (see video below).
