Diggers Royal Cornwall Show round up (Part One)

As at most other plant and machinery shows these days it was good to see the continued uptake of tiltrotator systems on new machines being supplied by the dealers. On the CBL Plant stand I discovered this fine looking Takeuchi TB235 which has been supplied by the Saltash depot to local contractor Kris Bartle who specified a Rototilt system for his latest machine. On the Molson stand there was another tiltrotator example in the form of an Engcon EC219 which also features the EC-Oil system mounted on Kirk Hough’s new Hyundai R 140LC-9A. Kirk has really embraced the Swedish approach to excavation since having a tiltrotator fitted to his R 220LC-9A. Dumpers and rollers were also in abundance on the CBL Plant Sales stand, with many of them sporting the corporate colours of the customer. This 9 tonne Thwaites and a Bomag BW120 AD-5 roller had been purchased by the ever expanding MJL Group. Talking of corporate colours, there was a large display of blue and white/grey machines on display as Liskeard based Steve Hoskin Construction, celebrated 20 years of doing business with CBL Plant Sales. There will be more on this in a separate blog post over the coming days. MJL Group kit was to be found all over the showground and on the M&M Plant Sales stand I spotted a new Case 590ST wheeled backhoe loader. Look out for more highlights in part two of my show round up.
