The week kicked off to a flying start with this post from Louise Murphy who told us that the Plantworx show has now got 278 confirmed exhibitors and is 86% sold out! 74 exhibitors are new to the event - that's 27%. Louise went on to tell us that Digger Man Blog readers are all invited to the UK’s number one construction event of the year which takes place on 6^th,7^th & 8^th June and Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire and gave details on where to register. Bert Sandercock posted a couple of photos this week featuring a brand new Kubota U27-4 with the owners very happy dog stood enjoying the benefits of its powerful heater! The 3 tonne class U27-4 has certainly gained a lot of human fans since its launch too. It’s been a big week for the Takeuchi brand on the Digger Man Blog this week, what with my own visit to see the new TB2150 for a test drive opportunity, then just a day later Colin Bent posted a photo of another one being delivered. The various posts prompted some interesting discussions with most who know anything about the Japanese products being complimentary. And finally this week, the other big news item has been the unveiling of Case Construction Equipment’s new range of mini excavators produced in conjunction with HHI. Reader Dominic Hatton posted a couple of photos from the dealer day/press event in Turin which sent people into overdrive as they realised the machines identity under the paintwork.
