Digger’s weekly social media round up #30

Colin Evans was keen to show off his brand spanking new mount a JCB JS370LC hydraulic excavator which is fitted with the new Rolls Royce inspired MTU engine. The machine went straight out to work on a project in the Milton Keynes area. Check out the discussion by clicking on this link. There was plenty of new metal on display on the DMB Facebook page this week and Henrik Pedersen from Denmark posted a couple of shots of his new all singing, all dancing Takeuchi TB290 complete with Engcon tilt-rotator, selector grab, Nordic style buckets and a blade mounted bucket cradle, a fantastic example of how to specify a machine. Check out the thread here. Digger Man Blog stalwart Matthew Johnson seems to be very interested in Doosan’s new baby duck the 6 tonne class DX57W-5 and posted a video which he had shared from Dutch Doosan dealership ELM Bouwmachine BV. Matthew posed the question has anyone used one and in true social media style, everyone had an opinion on it. You can see the results here. We do love a good “Digger Dog” cab photo here on the Digger Man Blog, who could forget Dave the dog for instance, whose owner seems to have gone AWOL on the page recently. But this week we were treated to Adam Sinfield’s hound who was keeping a keen eye on things from the cab of his Komatsu PC15R, if you missed it you can check it out here. George Moore shared a batch of photos from family business Chris Moore Transport showing the fruits of their labours with one of their Bell B30D dumptrucks which has been through the workshops for a full winter service and respray in preparation for a busy summer of muckshifting ahead, I think you will agree, with the new logo signage they look cracking! Check out the post here. Self-confessed Cat fan and experienced operator Jason Snaith posted a photo of an older Caterpillar D6 dozer with what can only be described as fully loaded blade bearing the simple title “She’d push” which kind of sums it all up really! Check it out here. Finally this week, James Hulk Covell looks determined to spread his love for his JCB products with his family, as he posted a couple of photos of his children feeling the love for the British built machines. If you missed it take a look at the thread here. Have a great weekend and see you all back on the Digger Man Blog next week.
