Buckhurst have recently invested in two of these smart looking dumptrucks with more to follow as the UK market continues to embrace the fully cabbed dumper concept which offer a safer and more comfortable working environment for those individuals who drive them. I will be covering this machine in much more detail in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine, but to share my first impressions here, when I first caught glance of the machine it reminded me of an updated and modern version of the old Thwaites Alldrive Goliath model from the 80’s. Featuring the style and design flair we have come to expect from the Italian's the D12 is powered by a Tier 4 emissions compliant Deutz 4 cylinder engine and is a rigid chassis design with 4 wheel steering with options for crab mode or just front wheel steering, the machine features a hydrostatic transmission and is capable of a top speed of 35km/h.
