First Sany SY500H sold in UK

The first 50-tonne Sany SY500H excavator sold in the UK has been delivered to a Scottish customer who will put it to work on an oil rig decomissioning project in Fife. CessCon Decom Ltd purchased the excavator through Sany’s direct sales and support route in Scotland.

Leading the purchasing process was former AB2000 owner, Adam Bruce, who is now a director at CessCon. Whilst at AB2000, Adam ran a fleet of Sany excavators and was one of the first people in the UK to purchase the brand. His positive experiences with the product helped in the decision making process for CessCon’s decomissioning project.

The 400hp machine was delivered to Walkerweld in Glasgow, a subsidiary of CessCon, where it will receive some additional spec before heading off to the jobsite in Methil. You can read more about this large digger here.
