Flannery supports BBC Children in Need

Flannery Plant Hire is supporting this year’s BBC Children in Need campaign by donating the revenue it receives from renting two particular machines to the charity. The telehandler and mini-excavator have already been hard at work building a new base for Surfability UK, the nation’s first fully-inclusive surfing school based in Swansea.

With the help of DIY SOS: The Big Build volunteers, the Flannery Spotty Machines are currently renovating Surfability's rundown and disused bus shelter that has no electricity or water amenities, and turning it into a well-designed surf suit and board storage unit. The results will be shown on television in November during BBC Children in Need Appeal week.

Patrick Flannery, Flannery Plant Hire Managing Director, confirmed the Flannery Spotty machines are now available to hire for other work, and that they will be used at fundraising events to raise more money in aid of BBC Children in Need.
