Fleet of Kubotas for MJL

Vincent Tractors & Plant, located in the South West, has secured a new deal to supply 18 Kubota excavators to groundworks specialist MJL. In total, MJL will take delivery of 12 Kubota KX080-4a2 midi-excavators alongside four KX030-4 GLs and two KX016-4s, both of which are mini-excavators. The new purchase further bolsters MJL’s burgeoning Kubota fleet, which also includes a number of eight-tonne excavators purchased in 2015.

As a full-line Kubota dealer, Vincent Tractors & Plant supplies the complete range of Kubota’s construction, agricultural and groundcare machinery. Founded in 1966, Vincent Tractors has grown to become one of Cornwall and Devon’s largest machinery specialists, with flagship dealerships operating in Fraddon, Holsworthy and Smithaleigh (near Ivybridge).

Based in Helston, Cornwall, with an additional office in Exeter, Devon, MJL employs more than 300 people and works on major infrastructure and civil engineering jobs across the UK, with the fresh purchase of 18 Kubota significantly scaling up its operational capabilities. Matthew Lugg, Managing Director at MJL, said, “With the government pledging major investment in new housing and infrastructure upgrades across the next few years, the construction industry is set to be busier than ever. In order to ensure we are best placed to meet the needs of our customers, it is vital for us to invest in our machinery fleet. Kubota machinery comes with a well deserved reputation for durability and user friendliness, and we can’t wait to get them out on site!”
