H. E. Services spends £1m on electric Sany telehandlers
SANY UK has secured an order worth more than £1 million from long-standing customer H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd, including a substantial number of fully electric SANY STH625E telehandlers.
The investment also includes electric excavators, among them the SY19E and SY35E, expanding the hire company's range of zero-emission machinery. The STH625E has a maximum lift capacity of 2,500kg and a lifting height of 6m. Measuring 1,850mm wide and 1,920mm to the top of the cab, it is designed for work in confined spaces and restricted-access environments.
SANY claims up to eight hours of operating time, depending on the application and working conditions. The machine also features an integrated energy recovery system and multiple charging options. Leigh Harris, Business Development Director at SANY UK, said: "H. E. Services has been a valued partner of SANY for many years, and this latest investment demonstrates their confidence in both our products and our long-term vision for the future of construction equipment.

"The introduction of the fully electric STH625E telehandler represents an important step in helping contractors access practical zero-emission solutions without compromising on performance, reliability or productivity. As demand for sustainable equipment continues to grow, we're proud to support H. E. Services in expanding their electric fleet and making this technology available to customers across the UK. This order reinforces the strength of our partnership and highlights the increasing role that electric machinery will play on construction sites in the years ahead."
A spokesperson for H. E. Services added: "As demand for low and zero-emission equipment continues to increase across the construction industry, we're committed to investing in products that help our customers meet their sustainability objectives without compromising on performance." The spokesperson said the STH625E offered the lifting capability, operating time and operator comfort required for modern construction sites, alongside the environmental benefits increasingly sought by customers. "We've built a strong relationship with SANY over a number of years and have been impressed by both the quality of the products and the support provided by the team. The addition of these electric telehandlers is another positive step in expanding our sustainable equipment offering to customers across the UK."
