Hanix feature heavily at Machine Serve open day

Devon based Machine Serve are local dealers for Arrowhead hydraulic attachments, Berti flail mowers, Digga augers and trenching equipment, Dieci telehandlers, and Hanix mini excavators, in addition to being Zetor tractor and agricultural machinery dealers. On Friday & Saturday, 7th – 8th March, they held an open day to enable new and existing customers to come and take a look at what the company has to offer from its portfolio of products. Visitors were able to see selected items of kit from the range displayed and even had the opportunity to try the various products in the demonstration zones. Highlight for most visitors, apart from the complimentary burger and coffee, was a visit to the Hanix mini excavator demonstration plot, where Paul Clarke and Chris Teasdale from Hanix Europe Ltd had examples from the recently re-launched Hanix range available for visitors to try out. Examples ranged from the 980kg H09D up to the H55DR, which weighs in at 5400kg. Talking to the Digger Man Blog, Paul Clarke from Hanix said, “Overall we have been very pleased with the feedback from everyone who has tried the machines at this event. We have had a steady flow of potential customers and a number of potential leads to follow up after the open day draws to a close”. Of course no period of "stick time" would be complete without an appearance from yours truly, so a quick spin on the H27DR it was then. Cracking little machine I must say! There was also a good selection of used machines available for sale, including this 2002 model New Holland EC15 1.5 tonne class mini excavator. And a JCB JS130 which would still be capable of putting in a good days work. Local event’s like this are a great way for dealers to highlight their range of products and everyone I spoke to had learnt something about the new products and how they could help their individual businesses, whilst having an enjoyable day out.
