Heavyweight Poclain veteran to star at Intermat

French contractor and keen Poclain enthusiast Eric Moutot’s 75 tonne class Poclain 400CK looks set to be the focal point of the historic display, put on by the members of the Poclain Foundation at Intermat in Paris. This amazing restoration is part of Mr Moutot's large collection which also includes the 1000CK we featured a here on the blog a few weeks ago. This mighy machine will be accompanied by other examples of restored Poclain machines including a face shovel version of the popular 90CKB, a 60P wheeled excavator and the iconic TY45. Photo courtesy of Les Engins De TP The 400CK was a star attraction at last year’s inaugural “Machinery Passion” 2014 historical machinery working event, which was held in a working quarry in Albon in the South East of France. The same machine can be seen in this video at work loading another classic French truck from Berliet.   The Poclain 400CK still looks like a modern machine despite its age and I for one am looking forward to seeing her in the metal at the show.
