Hidromek hits sales milestone
Construction machinery manufacturer Hidromek, based in Turkey, has now sold more than 50,000 machines since it was established in Ankara in 1978. Employing 2,000 people and covering 80 countries, Hidromek produces backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders and soil compactors in its six production facilities, including four factories in Ankara, Turkey, one factory in Izmir, Turkey and one factory in Chonburi, Thailand.
Hidromek is in the process of building a new 1.4 million square metre production facility in Ankara. A factory that manufactures gearboxes, axles, hydraulic reducers and hydraulic cylinders is already operational at the site, and a new excavator factory is scheduled to come on stream in 2022. The Turkish company has revealed plans to introduce new crawler excavators, mini crawler backhoe loaders, soil compactors and wheel loaders this year.
