Letchworth-based Synergy Hire, a subsidiary of Hitachi formed in January 2019, has taken delivery of the first Stage 5 emissions-compliant Hitachi mini- and midi-excavators in the UK, including the ZX26U-6, ZX48U-6 and ZX85US-6 models.
The UK rental market is estimated to be worth more than £3billion and is forecast to continue growing until 2022. This is particularly true in the south of England, where demand for machinery in the new housing development sector is particularly strong.
