How many can you fit in a mini excavator cab?

A couple of photos appeared on Facebook recently featuring Neil Grainger of Camberley based Always Digging and a number of his workmates who were trying to take shelter with him in the cab of his Takeuchi TB016 during a typical British downpour. I was amazed to see that there were in fact 3 other blokes wedged in the cab, plus Neil who had the best seat in the house! This got me thinking, I wonder just how many people you could fit in one of these machines and would it be possible to get the attempt into the famous Guinness Book of Records? Since those photos were posted I have also come across this promotional “fun” shot from Kubota, which is clearly a photoshop effort, but very well done! So who is up for the challenge?
