Hydrema “Duck” impresses at open day

One of the highlights for visitors was a chance to view and get hands on with the latest machines in Hydrema’s excavator range including the new MX18 wheeled excavator, the largest in a three model range, that were first officially launched alongside the smallest machine in the line-up, the MX14 at last year’s Bauma trade fair. The Hydrema MX18 features a Tier 4 interim/Stage IIIB engine which complies with all current EU emissions regulations, was displayed at the open day with a two piece variable adjustment boom and Engcon EC219 tiltrotator system. These Cummins powered excavators are said to be the most compact machines in their class. In addition the company will shortly be launching their new rail road versions to an eager market place. Also on show was the company’s latest entrant in the backhoe loader range, the 926E model which was also launched last year. This impressive Tier 4 interim/Stage IIIB compliant, four wheel drive articulated backhoe loader, features a 280o slewing arc. Check out this video of the MX18 being test driven by a customer.
