In the Swedish way with Häv & Gräv i Östergötland AB

Fredrik works for Ostergotland based Häv & Gräv AB a multi-facetted excavation and civil engineering company that works in Southern Sweden. The business was founded in 2002 by Kalle Moberg and David Andersson and has expanded steadily over the years, to a point that they now employ around 60 employees and have a turnover of 100 million SEK. The company run an impressive fleet of machines from a variety of manufacturers, some of the latest additions are from the CASE stable like the 30-tonne class CX300D pictured above. Of course, with this firm working in Sweden the home of the tiltrotator, most of the excavators on the fleet feature the game changing attachments, however the Swedes are not brand orientated and they are often seen to be using one brand of “tilty” with another manufacturer’s buckets or attachment, as we see above with the TAB boomed Doosan DX160W sporting a Rototilt tiltrotator with an EMA bucket, a typical Scandinavian set up. The company run 32 x excavators, 5 x trucks, 4 x dumpers, 1 x drilling machine and 10 x small loaders. They also run 3 x crushing machines for the processing of rock after blasting works. In the photo above the company’s Caterpillar 323F is at work forming a ditch and loading a Volvo articulated hauler. The heavyweight excavator on the fleet is a Hyundai R 320LC-7 which is often used to perform rock breaking duties with a direct mount hydraulic hammer. The company has a very much, hands on approach to the work, with founders Kalle and David still out on sites operating machines with fellow directors Henrik Carvelid and Fredrik taking care of the office work.
