It's Showtime as Plantworx 2017 opens its doors

Over 370 exhibitors have signed up for the construction event of the year. Of those 150 are brand new to the show. And according to the organizers this year has broken all past records for the show which is officially the biggest to date.

Plantworx is now 96% sold - the team is expecting it to be a complete sell-out! There's also more machinery demonstration areas for operators to get hands on with the kit - 'try before you buy'! Check out this promotional video from the Plantworx team for a taste of what to expect from this years show.

Looking back at the show which was the forerunner of Plantworx, Andy Hair of Northerntrack fame came across this classic video clip featuring the glory days of the old SED (Site Equipment Demonstration) which was the highlight of most plant men and women’s year when it was held at its spiritual home of Fen Farm in Milton Keynes.

I myself used to look forward to going every year and always made sure I had a day booked out of the seat to enable me to attend. I still recall the buzz as we used to approach the showground and get that first glimpse of all the kit in action on the working plots it really was a sight to behold! I like many others now find myself getting the same buzz on the long drive up the tarmac at Plantworx!
