JCB updates Livelink platform
JCB has introduced a range of updates to its LiveLink telematics platform, adding new features designed to improve fleet management, machine safety and operational efficiency.
Used by more than 40,000 customers and connected to over 580,000 machines worldwide, LiveLink provides web and mobile access to information including machine location, utilisation, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and security across both JCB and mixed-brand fleets.
The latest update introduces expanded remote management capabilities for Hi-Viz Loadall telescopic handlers, including the 535-125, 540-140 and 540-180 models. Fleet managers can now remotely adjust settings such as Auto Stop parameters, speed limits, IntelliSense activation, tyre pressure monitoring and PIN management, reducing the need to visit individual machines.
JCB Group Managing Director – Global Aftersales, Mario Moser, said: "Customers are increasingly looking for ways to reduce operating costs, improve machine utilisation and maintain safe, efficient worksites. JCB LiveLink continues to evolve to support those objectives.
"The latest developments reflect the growing range of users who rely on machine information across modern operations. Whether they are running a business, managing a fleet, overseeing a project or operating a machine themselves, customers need access to information that is relevant to their role and helps them make informed decisions.
"By helping customers make better-informed decisions, LiveLink can bring increased profitability, safer working environments and more sustainable machine operation."
Additional features include health alerts, maintenance notifications, geofencing and out-of-hours security alerts. Integration with JCB IntelliSense also enables AI-assisted pedestrian detection, while machine performance reports covering fuel consumption, idle time and CO₂ emissions help customers improve efficiency, reduce costs and support sustainability targets.
