Komatsu improves MR mini-excavators

Komatsu has upgraded its four-strong MR mini-excavator range with engine enhancements that improve performance, economy and emissions. On models PC16MR, PC18MR, PC22MR and PR26MR, engines have moved up the scale from Dash 3 to Dash 5 level, meaning they now meet EU Stage 5 emissions standard.

The new MR-5 range builds on the successful MR-3 product line whilst concentrating the quality and performance of the larger Komatsu construction range into a compact package. A host of new and improved features includes a seat belt indicator, an easily accessible secondary shut down switch and protected PPC levers that make machines safe for operator and bystanders. Factory-fit options include fingertip controls and a hydraulic quick coupler.
