Kubota diggers for GAP

GAP Group, one of the largest independent hire companies in the UK, has invested in new equipment to help its customers follow recent Stage 5 emissions standards by purchasing 15 new Kubota KX080-4 excavators, with more machines set to join the fleet in future. The 8-tonne Kubota machines feature a Stage 5 compliant direct injection diesel engine with common-rail system and diesel particulate filter (DPF). It also boasts an Eco Plus mode to boost efficiency, as well as a new two-pump load sensing system to improve overall smoothness of operations when using the front attachments.

Earlier in March, GAP Group opened a new flagship depot in Tilbury near Essex, housing seven GAP divisions comprising Plant, Tools, Non-Mechanical, Trenching & Shoring, Welfare Services, Tanker Services and Lifting & TIC, across 6 acres.
